Founded CrossBorder Capital in 1996. Michael developed the quantitative liquidity research methodology while he was Research Director at Salomon Bros. from 1986. He was subsequently appointed Head of Research at Baring Securities in 1992, and was top-ranked “Emerging Market Strategist” by institutional investors for the three years prior to setting up CrossBorder Capital. Michael has worked in financial markets since 1981 and is a regular international conference speaker. He is a qualified US Supervisory Analyst and has a Doctorate in Economics.
Joined CrossBorder Capital in 1999 to develop alternative investment activities. He has been in the financial markets since 1980. He ran Gerrard & National’s Hong Kong office where he was responsible for their proprietary equity activities. From 1990 he was the director responsible for all their proprietary trading excluding fixed income. In 1996, he joined ING Baring Securities becoming head of equity sales for East and Central Europe and the Middle East.
Joined CrossBorder Capital in 2004. He developed quantitative models for trading and asset allocation using CBC Liquidity database. Between 2005 and 2012 he managed multi-asset strategies and in 2010 he started the Fixed Income Macro strategy. Pablo began his career in 1997 at BBV Banco Frances asset management and later on he worked in corporate finance at Kimberly-Clark and Camuzzi Group in Buenos Aires and as an equity analyst at ZAN Partners, a London based L/S hedge fund. Pablo has a B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella (1997) , a Masters in Finance from London Business School (2003) and he is CFA charterholder (2001).
